Under-20 Women National Team skipper Anna Mukumbuta says the team is focussed on overturning the 2-0 deficit in the return leg match against South Africa on Saturday.
Speaking before departure for South Africa this morning Mukumbuta said the team had worked on its weaknesses from the first leg and was confident of reaping the desired result.
“Knowing that we lost to South Africa, we now know their tactics and we will be able to outplay them, that’s our expectation,” she said.
And team Coach Charles Haluboono said the team is going for an outright win and the girls needed to push hard to get the goals.
He said the girls have corrected the areas that seemed challenging and the team is set.
“We are going for an outright win, there’s no other way. They just have to push hard and get the goals and where we had problems in defence we have done our corrections,” he said.
Zambia will play South Africa on Saturday in the 2020 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at Orlando Stadium.
