…As he says it is not time now to change a ship captain in the middle of a storm.
Former Minister of Finance Katele Kalumba says Zambians still need a tested political leadership.
Dr Kalumba says it is not time to change a ship captain in the middle of a storm.
In an interview today, he says changing a political leadership in this year’s elections will amount to experimenting with the lives of ordinary Zambians.
“Let’s not make any mistake in this year’s elections.
We have a leadership that has shown that it has the heart for the people,” he says.
Meanwhile Dr Kalumba has urged Zambians to maintain peace as the country is going towards elections.
Dr Kalumba says the election calendar should not divide Zambians.
“As Zambians unity is everything. We have avoided chaos under One Zambia One Nation.
Political parties driven by “Own kind” politics should be rejected again. Zambia is a unitary state, no one should buy or sell our people with three pieces of silver,” he says.
